Cancellation policy

All cancellations prior to August 8, 2016 (4:30 pm PST) will be refunded in full. If you cancel your event and hotel reservation on or after August 8, your conference fee will be refunded less a $100 processing fee and your credit card will be charged for one night's hotel stay.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise has negotiated a special discounted rate for the Big Data Conference Hotel. Please do not book hotels on your own.

The host hotel for customers and partners attending Big Data Conference 2016 is The Westin Boston Waterfront, located at 425 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02210.

Located in the heart of the emerging Boston Seaport district, The Westin Boston Waterfront is less than three miles from Logan International Airport, as well as a short cab, bus, water taxi or T train ride away from Back Bay, the Financial District and plenty of things to do in Boston.

The hotel room cost is $259 per night + 14.5% tax.

Please note that the following terms apply for cancelled hotel reservations:

All cancellations should be submitted in writing to the Big Data Conference 2016 Hotel Team.

Prior to and including August 12, 2016 (4:30 pm Pacific time), no cancellation fee is payable.

Between August 12, 2016 (4:30 pm Pacific time) and the event, your credit card may be charged for one night’s hotel stay.

In the event of a cancellation after August 12, 2016 (4:30 pm Pacific time) the hotel will charge for any cancellation or no-show fees that might apply and will send you an invoice according to the details you submit during registration.

Reducing the number of nights of your hotel reservation

Hewlett Packard Enterprise will attempt to resell the room nights you might need to reduce. However, this cannot be guaranteed and the cancellation policy will apply. All reductions after August 12, 2016 (4:30 pm Pacific time) should be submitted in writing to the Big Data Conference 2016 Hotel Team.

The closest airport to Big Data Conference is Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), approximately three miles from The Westin Boston Waterfront hotel. Travel to and from the conference center is the responsibility of the attendee.

Driving Directions to the Westin

From East

Follow the signs out of Boston Logan International Airport to Interstate 90 West/Massachusetts Turnpike West by way of the Ted Williams Tunnel. Take Exit 25 to South Boston. Keep right at the fork and exit onto Congress Street. Turn right on D Street. Turn right on Summer Street and the hotel is on the left.

From North

Take Interstate 93 South to Exit 20A towards South Station. Turn left at the light onto Summer Street. The hotel is approximately 0.7 miles ahead on the right just past the convention center.

From West

Take Interstate 90 East to Exit 24A (South Station). Go straight onto Atlantic Avenue. Turn right onto Summer Street. The hotel is approximately 0.7 miles ahead on the right, just past the convention center.

From South

Take Interstate 93 North to Exit 20 (South Station). Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Kneeland Street and then take the 2nd left onto Atlantic Avenue. Turn right on Summer Street and the hotel is approximately 0.7 miles ahead on the right

Parking

Parking at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel costs $36/day self-parking or $46/day for valet parking.

Public Transportation Directions to the Westin

By Subway (the “T”)

The hotel is located on the MBTA Silver Line at the World Trade Center stop. The Silver Line is accessed via the Red Line at South Station. Once at the World Trade Center stop, proceed 2 levels up to the Mezzanine level. The hotel is located at the end of the foot bridge on Summer Street, next door to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

The MBTA begins daily service Monday - Saturday at 5:35 am with the last train arriving at South Station at 1:10 am. The schedule varies on Sundays and holidays. Fare costs average between $1.70 - $2.00 per ride.

By Bus

The number 7 bus on the MBTA bus line stops outside the hotel on Summer Street. The bus schedule varies depending on the time of week. Monday - Saturday buses start leaving stations at 5:30 am and the last bus leaves at 10:14 pm. The cost is $1.50 per trip.

By Taxi

Taxi fare between Boston Logan International Airport and the Westin Boston Waterfront will range from $25 - $35 depending on traffic conditions.

By Uber

Uber runs throughout the Boston area.

By Shuttle/Van
